  • When will my project be completed?
    • While we offer development services at a cheaper rate than most big dev shops, we need more time to complete projects as students are only working in their after school hours, with a max of 10 hours per week per student
    • Our program runs all year long
  • Where is the STEM Engine office located?

    • Our program is managed and operated in Baltimore, Maryland as part of the Digital Harbor Foundation
    • However, the STEM Engine team doesn’t work in any one place, most students work remotely
    • Our meetings and work sessions are conducted online via chat rooms, Skype, and GoTo Meeting.

      • Scholarship money is earned based on the projects that students participate in and can be used upon exiting the program for college, trade school, starting a business, or purchasing a home

  • How will the development process work?
    1. Contact us regarding your web or mobile app project or complete the Project Estimate Form, located below
    2. Receive an estimate from our team
    3. Work with our Technical Manager and Project Manager, Shawn and Stephanie Grimes – the adults who manage the STEM Engine program, to outline the project and complete contracts
    4. Students will work on your project and complete in a timely fashion under our direct supervision
